REGENERATION

After years of neglect, and insufficient investment, many estates are in need of radical improvement. Our regeneration projects involve the wholesale redevelopment of the existing homes and patience is required to assist and guide residents, many of whom may have lived on the estates for decades, through the construction process.

Genuine community involvement is at the heart of this and our dedicated community liaison teams make sure that all stakeholders have a real say in the proposals and are kept informed of progress. Our aim is to try and minimise the disruption to the existing community as much as possible and make sure that we implement initiatives that will have a lasting positive impact. Building confidence and offering employment and training opportunities are key – we have employed many people from the estates we have worked on as well as offering apprenticeships.
